BizzyX Contractor Standards & Eligibility Requirements

To protect homeowners, maintain service quality, and uphold the BizzyX brand, all contractors must meet the following minimum standards to apply and remain active in the BizzyX Contractor Network.


1. Licensing & Legal Compliance (Required)

Contractors must:

  • Hold a valid, active Florida contractor license for their trade
    (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing, General Contracting, etc.)

  • Be properly registered with the State of Florida and local jurisdictions where work is performed

  • Operate in full compliance with all Florida DBPR and county regulations

  • Perform work only within the scope of their licensed trade


2. Insurance Requirements (Required)

All contractors must maintain:

  • General Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000 aggregate recommended)

  • Workers’ Compensation Insurance (if applicable)

  • Active insurance certificates listing the legal business entity name

  • Proof of insurance must be uploaded during onboarding and kept current.


3. Business Verification

Contractors must provide:

  • Legal business name and ownership information

  • EIN or SSN (for verification purposes)

  • Physical service area(s) in Central Florida

  • Valid contact information (phone, email, business address)


4. Professional Standards & Customer Experience

BizzyX contractors are expected to:

  • Communicate professionally with homeowners

  • Show up on time or provide proactive updates if delayed

  • Provide clear, honest pricing and scope of work

  • Respect homeowner property and maintain clean job sites

  • Follow all safety protocols and code requirements

  • Repeated complaints or unprofessional conduct may result in removal from the network.


5. Service Quality & Accountability

  • Work must meet Florida Building Code and trade-specific standards

  • Contractors must stand behind their workmanship

  • If a homeowner issue arises, contractors must make a good-faith effort to resolve it

  • BizzyX reserves the right to pause or remove contractors for unresolved service issues


6. Background & Reputation Review

As part of the approval process, BizzyX may review:

  • Public license records

  • Online reviews and complaint history

  • Prior service performance within the network (if applicable)

  • This helps maintain a trusted, homeowner-first ecosystem.


7. Platform Participation

Approved contractors will:

  • Be onboarded into the Get Bizzy mobile app (platform access)

  • Receive homeowner service requests generated through BizzyX and other channels

  • Agree to use the platform responsibly and respond to requests in a timely manner

  • Comply with BizzyX referral, communication, and service policies


8. Ongoing Compliance

Contractors must:

  • Keep licenses and insurance active at all times

  • Update documentation upon renewal

  • Maintain acceptable service performance ratings

  • Follow any updated BizzyX standards as the network grows
